What does “certified translation” mean here?

A translation carried out through an appropriately licensed translator and issued with their certification, so the receiving authority can see who did the work and check it.

Whether certification is required at all depends on the authority you submit to — where it applies, it is what we prepare.

Is the translator's fee included in the price?

Yes. The figure shown is the whole price: the translator's fee is inside it, no VAT is added, and nothing further is charged afterwards.

If something changes the price — more pages than the file showed, or a complication you tell us about — we agree it with you before any work is charged.

Is attestation or legalization included?

No. Attestation is a separate step and is quoted separately, because the fees are set by the ministries and embassies involved, not by us.

Tick "it also needs attestation" and we quote the whole chain by hand, rather than show a total we cannot stand behind.

How is the translation delivered?

By email as standard — a digital copy you can forward or print.

A printed copy by courier is available at checkout. You pay on this site either way; the courier collects nothing for the translation.

What counts as one page?

One billable page is up to 250 words of the source document, not a physical sheet.

So a dense contract page can count as more than one, and a sparse certificate page counts as one. Uploading it settles this before you pay rather than after.

What if the document is handwritten, stamped, or a poor scan?

Handwriting, stamps, tables, unusual layouts and poor scans all take longer, and the calculator cannot measure any of them from a page count.

Tell us in the configurator and the order becomes a manual quote instead of an instant price. Nothing is charged until you agree the figure.

Can you do it urgently?

Often, but not always — it depends on the document, the language pair and what is already in the queue that day.

Tick "I need it urgently" and the rush charge is added straight away, or we tell you the order needs confirming. We do not take a rush fee for a deadline we have not confirmed.

What if the receiving authority has its own requirements?

Tell us which authority the document is going to. Some ask for attestation, some for a particular format or a specific certifying translator — knowing beforehand saves doing the work twice.

Final acceptance rests with the authority receiving it. We prepare documents for UAE submission and tell you what we know of their requirements, but no translator can promise another body's decision.

Translation and attestation

What is the difference between translation, attestation, and legalization?

Translation moves a document from one language to another. Attestation is a government authority's stamp confirming it is genuine. Legalization is the chain of attestations that makes it accepted outside the country. Many documents need all three.

How do I know which services my document needs?

It depends on the document, the country that issued it, the authority receiving it, and what it is for. We look at it and tell you the steps it needs before any work starts.

The UAE is not on the Hague Apostille Convention — what does that mean for me?

That a foreign document cannot be cleared with a single apostille stamp. It needs the full chain: the issuing country's foreign ministry, then the UAE embassy there, then the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We handle all of it.

Can you handle the entire chain — translation and all attestation stages — as a package?

Yes, as one service. You hand us the document and get it back translated, attested and ready to submit.

How are original documents kept safe during the process?

We record every hand-over of an original document from one stage to the next, and tell you where it is at each stage.

Can you help with document translation and attestation?

Yes. Certified and legal translation through Ministry of Justice-licensed translators in Arabic, English and French, and attestation through UAE ministries and embassies. Both are activities on our RAKEZ licence.
