Purpose and Scope

This Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy ("Policy") sets out the intellectual property ("IP") rights, obligations, and procedures applicable to all content, materials, and services provided by ZenVisa International ("ZenVisa"), operated by Zenway International FZ-LLC, a RAKEZ-licensed company.

This Policy applies to: all content on the ZenVisa website and platforms; materials provided to clients as part of our services; user-generated content submitted through our platforms; and all trademarks, logos, and branding elements of ZenVisa.

Definitions

"Copyright": The exclusive legal right to reproduce, distribute, perform, display, and license a work.

"IP": Intellectual Property: creations of the mind including copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets.

"Trademark": A recognizable sign, design, or expression that identifies products or services of ZenVisa.

"Work": Any original creation protected by copyright law.

Ownership of ZenVisa IP

All content on the ZenVisa platform, including but not limited to: text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, software, and compilations; website design, layout, and user interface elements; original articles, guides, blog posts, and educational materials; proprietary tools, calculators, and assessment frameworks; and training materials and internal documentation, is the exclusive property of Zenway International FZ-LLC and is protected by UAE and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Licensed Content

Certain content on the ZenVisa platform may be licensed from third parties. Such content remains the property of its respective owners and is used by ZenVisa under applicable license agreements. The use of such content by users is subject to the terms of the original license.

User-Generated Content IP

By submitting content to ZenVisa platforms (including reviews, comments, forum posts, and uploaded documents), users grant ZenVisa a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media. Users represent that they own or have the necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not infringe any third-party IP rights.

Client Materials

Documents, information, and materials provided by clients to ZenVisa for the purpose of receiving services remain the property of the client. ZenVisa is granted a limited license to use such materials solely for the purpose of providing the requested services. Upon completion of services, ZenVisa will return or destroy client materials as agreed, subject to legal retention requirements.

Third-Party IP

Users may not post, upload, or transmit any content that infringes the IP rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights. This includes: unauthorized copies of copyrighted works; counterfeit trademarks or trade names; patented inventions without authorization; and misappropriated trade secrets.

Trademarks

"ZenVisa International", "ZenVisa", the ZenVisa logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Zenway International FZ-LLC or its affiliates. Users may not use such trademarks without prior written consent, except to identify ZenVisa as the source of services.

All other trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos appearing on the platform are the property of their respective owners.

Copyright Infringement Claims

ZenVisa respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us at the address below.

DMCA-Style Takedown Procedure

To report copyright infringement, submit a written notice to copyright@zenvisa.ae containing: (a) Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; (b) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (c) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our platform; (d) Your contact information; (e) A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized; (f) A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury.

Upon receiving a valid notice, ZenVisa will: promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material; notify the user who posted the material; and take appropriate action consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

Counter-Notification

If your content has been removed due to a copyright infringement claim and you believe the removal was erroneous, you may submit a counter-notification containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and its previous location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your contact information; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

Repeat Infringers

ZenVisa will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights. A user is considered a repeat infringer after receiving two valid infringement notices.

IP Infringement by Users

Users who infringe third-party IP rights through our platform may be subject to: removal of infringing content; suspension or termination of account; reporting to relevant authorities; and legal action for damages. ZenVisa reserves the right but not the obligation to monitor content for IP infringement.

Enforcement Actions

ZenVisa reserves the right to take any and all appropriate legal action to protect its IP rights, including: issuing cease and desist notices; seeking injunctive relief; claiming damages for infringement; and cooperating with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.

IP Licensing to Clients

As part of our service delivery, ZenVisa may provide clients with documents, templates, and guides. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use such materials solely for the immigration purpose for which they were provided. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from such materials without written consent.

Open Source and Third-Party Code

The ZenVisa platform may incorporate open-source software and third-party code, each governed by its respective license terms. Copies of applicable licenses are available upon request. ZenVisa complies with all open-source license obligations.

Confidential Information

All confidential information disclosed by either party in the course of the business relationship remains the property of the disclosing party. The receiving party agrees to maintain such information in strict confidence and not disclose it to third parties except as required by law.

IP Rights in AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI systems in the course of providing services is treated as follows: the underlying AI technology is licensed from third-party providers; human-reviewed and approved outputs provided to clients are licensed to clients for their intended use; raw AI outputs that have not been human-reviewed are not relied upon as advice; and ZenVisa retains rights to aggregated, anonymized insights derived from AI processing.

International IP Protection

ZenVisa's IP rights are protected under: UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 concerning Copyrights and Neighboring Rights; UAE Federal Law No. 37 of 1992 concerning Trademarks; UAE Federal Law No. 17 of 2002 concerning Industrial Regulation and Protection of Patents; Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works; and WIPO Copyright Treaty.

Employee and Contractor IP

All IP created by ZenVisa employees or contractors in the course of their duties for ZenVisa is the exclusive property of Zenway International FZ-LLC. All employees and contractors have signed IP assignment agreements to this effect.

IP Record Keeping

ZenVisa maintains records of: IP registrations and applications; licenses and permissions; infringement claims and resolutions; and IP-related correspondence. These records are maintained securely and retained for the period required by law.

Dispute Resolution

IP disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah specifically.

Amendments

This Policy may be amended at any time. Material changes will be posted on the website and notified via email 30 days in advance.
