Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Digital Inclusion
Our Commitment
ZenVisa International ("ZenVisa", "we", "us") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
We believe every person deserves equal access to immigration and visa services information, regardless of ability. This statement outlines our efforts to make the ZenVisa platform accessible to all users.
Applicable Standards
Our accessibility efforts are guided by: (a) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA; (b) UAE Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 concerning the Rights of People with Disabilities; (c) W3C Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 recommendations where practicable; (d) European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements for EU users; and (e) EN 301 549 European standard for public sector digital accessibility.
Accessibility Features
The ZenVisa platform incorporates the following accessibility features: (a) Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements; (b) ARIA landmarks and labels for screen reader compatibility; (c) Sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text); (d) Resizable text up to 200% without loss of functionality; (e) Consistent navigation structure across all pages; (f) Descriptive alt text for all informative images; (g) Form labels and error messages associated with inputs; (h) Skip navigation links; (i) Pause/stop controls for any auto-playing content; (j) No content that flashes more than three times per second.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
The ZenVisa platform is designed to be compatible with: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack screen readers; ZoomText and native OS magnification; Dragon NaturallySpeaking and OS-native voice control; standard keyboard-only navigation; and mainstream braille displays (via screen reader compatibility). We test regularly with these technologies but cannot guarantee compatibility with all assistive technology configurations.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist: (a) Some PDF documents uploaded by users may not be fully accessible; (b) Third-party embedded content (videos, maps) may have varying accessibility; (c) Legacy content created before our accessibility initiative may not fully comply; (d) Some complex data visualizations may require alternative access methods.
We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome feedback.
Ongoing Efforts
Our accessibility program includes: quarterly automated accessibility scans using axe and WAVE tools; annual manual accessibility audits by certified professionals; staff training on accessibility best practices; user testing with assistive technology users; prioritization of accessibility in all new feature development; and regular review and update of this statement.
Third-Party Content
Some pages on our platform display content from third-party providers (e.g., embedded videos, payment processors, live chat widgets). While we require third-party providers to meet accessibility standards, we do not control their platforms and cannot guarantee their accessibility compliance.
